    Springstead ROTC unit receives award: Springstead High School’s Air Force Junior ROTC Unit 952 was recently selected for the 2016-17 Distinguished Unit Award. The award recognizes the personal growth and accomplishments of the cadets, the contributions of the instructors as mentors, and the support of the school and local community. Specifically, the unit earned high marks by exceeding its community service hours goals and by meeting all of its unit goals.
